Keyword Elite Review
Keyword Elite Website
Rating: 9/10
I recently started using Keyword Elite for my search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns. Before using it, I compared Chris Lee’s Keyword Analyzer to Keyword Elite. I looked at all of the video examples and compared the various features.
Although both of them are great softwares for SEO and PPC keyword research, Keyword Elite had most of the features that I needed.
Out of Keyword Elite’s 5 modules (or projects as Brad Callen calls them), there were 2 that reeled me into using this product.
The first one was being able to quickly pull in a massive list of keywords. The second one was being able to spy on my pay-per-click competition.
Although there are 3 other modules, I haven’t spent to much time on them and I’ll just go over the ones that I’ve used.
1) Getting a massive list of keywords
I usually use Wordtracker to do my keyword research. Since I’ve been only paying for a 1 day membership, there are times that I “thought” I did enough research, but then realize that I need to do *more*. So instead of paying for another 1 day membership, I now go to Keyword Elite instead. Brad gives you the options to search through Teoma (Ask.com), Google’s Keyword Suggestion database, Yahoo, Overture, and his own database (another module). To add to this, he also has a function that get’s mispelled keywords.
I created a website recently to promote purely using Google Adwords. Since it was focused on a highly competitive niche, many of the keywords were expensive. Even though I had a list of over 1000, I still didn’t didn’t have enough of the right keywords.
So after using Keyword Elite, I set the upper limit to 10,000 before I went out to lunch. I let it run and I came back after an hour. I already had over 12,000 keywords. The software pulls in a bunch of keywords related to your primary keyword, and then continues to dig deeper and wider up to the limit that you want (100-10000). I was easily able to browse through the list and pick more keywords (and tons of mispelled ones) for my Adwords campaign. (many of them at the minimum bid of 5-10 cents). I won’t be using Wordtracker for while until I find a reason to. I could still export my lists of keywords and drop them into Dr. Andy’s Keyword Results Analyzer. It’s a another great time-saving tool to sort and analyze such a massive list of keywords.
2) Spying on my competition
This module will allow you to choose a domain that you’re advertising for and quickly see your competition. It will also point out if the advertising sites are the companys’ or affiliates. After you run the module, it will then historically record the advertisers. Using this tool, you can keep track of who your competition is and if their campaigns are effective over a period of time. So another way to say it: You can find out what makes money and duplicate other peoples successful efforts! You can also schedule this tool to keep track of the advertisers daily, weekly, monthly and at certain times of the day.
Now this program is not perfect. It does have much to be desired….small stuff anyways (some extra configurations, custom fields, and more reports). It’s only version 1…so there’s a lot of room for development.
Here’s a few reasons why I ended up purchasing Keyword Elite regardless of it being at its’ early stage. It was created by Brad Callen. Brad Callen is one of most knowledgable people on the topic of Search Engine Optimization. He has a pretty good track record with the best selling SEO software SEO Elite. The second reason is because it has saved me hours or even days of research. This reason made the program worth it already. The third reason is because it has FREE LIFETIME UPDATES! So when Brad puts in all of the new features in the near future (which I’m sure he will), I’ll get them for free. After spending so much money on a software like this, it wouldn’t be cool having to *buy* another package. Purchasing this software now, also means that you get it at it’s lowest price. After adding tons of features, there’s a great possibility that Brad will increase the price of the product.
