High PR Article Directories

You can benefit from articles directories in a number ways:

Getting Indexed Faster
Since these are high pagerank (PR) sites, Google and other search engines frequently index them. This means that you can get your site indexed faster if you create an article and submit it to 1 or more of these directories. Just make sure that you have a resource box link back to your site or
article.

Boost Search Engine Rankings
Besides being indexed faster, it’s a great way to get 1-way links. These 1-way links can boost your rankings in the search engines. Just make sure that you don’t over abuse the system. Mass submitting your articles can flag your content or site as SPAM.

Virally Promote Your Site & Boost Your Credibility
Some other great benefits are credibility and awareness. Many people search through article directories for information. If somebody stumbles onto your article, you boost the chances of people visiting your site. Submitted articles can help you virally market your site as well. People can easily email the articles or print them out for friends, or co-workers.

There’s no cost to manually submit to these directories. However, submitting them by hand could be time consuming. If you plan on including article submissions as a major part of your internet marketing strategy, you might want to consider something to automate the process. There’s a program called Article Post Robot that handles all of this stuff for you…automatically. It comes with a lot of advanced features, such as scheduled submissions.

I’ve tried a few article submitters that I received for free through some JV giveaways. Out of the 2 I tried, they both had very basic features. In fact, I can’t even use them effectively since the resource box field is too small to hold my resource text.
