While money orders or cashiers checks are safe, they can reduce the chances of making sales. Credit card payments are the easiest way to receive payments. To easily do this, you can sign up for a Paypal account.
Paypal will allow you to safely receive a wide variety of payments through the internet. If you become a Paypal merchant, you can use a variety of tools to accept payments on your own website.
So after you've signed up for both of these services, you're read to sell on eBay. Both Paypal and eBay provide a wealth of resources on their sites.
