In the past, I’ve built content sites that consisted of 50 to more than 200 pages. The purpose of this was to build a site where a page focused on a specific keyword (an actual keyphrase that people searched for – based on keyword research). So if a person search for legitimate home based business, then the searcher would find a web page themed around that keyphrase via the search engines. So since it would be hard to get traffic into the most competitive keyphrases (ie. home business), I would target low competition ones that still had enough demand. These pages would then be monetized or funneled down to sales or product pages.
