Niche Rockets Review

Website: NicheRockets.com
Rating: ★★★★★

In the past, I’ve built content sites that consisted of 50 to more than 200 pages. The purpose of this was to build a site where a page focused on a specific keyword (an actual keyphrase that people searched for - based on keyword research). So if a person search for legitimate home based business, then the searcher would find a web page themed around that keyphrase via the search engines. So since it would be hard to get traffic into the most competitive keyphrases (ie. home business), I would target low competition ones that still had enough demand. These pages would then be monetized or funneled down to sales or product pages.

Mega Content Site Madness

Making massive content sites has always been time consuming. You have to find the right niche to go into, then you have to do keyword research. Based on the research, you have to extract at least a few hundred keywords that you want to target - that have high demand and low competition. Then the most time consuming part of it was to write (or outsource) these keyword themed pages. These pages would have to be indexed by the search engines. On 1 site, it took me close to 8 months to see any income coming out of it.

Can you imagine writing over a hundred pages and then see nothing coming out of it for months? Most of you that know me or have read my ezine for sometime know that I don’t like writing. My pages aren’t literary masterpieces and many times, don’t have correct grammar. I’m more of a technical person at heart.

Finding Ways To Bring In Massive Web Traffic - For Free

Looking online, I realized that there were many people running successful niche websites with only 1-10 pages. I’m not talking about sales pages, I’m talking about affiliate or AdSense - mini content sites. So instead of creating a few hundred pages, they were doing quite well with just 1-10 pages.

When I first analyzed this, I was only thinking about Pay-Per-Click advertising. So instead of building pages to bring in traffic, I would have to pay for traffic. I’ve tried this approach off and on and I’ve made money off and on.

Then I heard about a strategy that could drive traffic into my minisites without paying for it. …and it wasn’t just blogging and pinging either.

A Little Niche Rockets History

Less than a month ago, I joined Niche Rockets after I heard that they started using more “white hat” marketing strategies. In the past, they were mostly known for automated website creation. For those of you not familiar with this, the user would run a program that went to websites, based on your keyword(s), and then saved content related to them (scraping). So a web publisher could actually make a website with 1000’s of pages in a matter of minutes.

Although I’m a business person, I lean mostly towards the “white hat” side - creating content the non-scripted way. This means that I either write my own content, or I outsource it. Scraping content can make you money in the short term, however, it’s not a long term solution for me. Search engines and individuals see automated content as web SPAM or splogging if they were made by automatically generated blogs. Eventually, these scraped sites get filtered out of the search engine results.

So after I heard Niche Rockets went white hat, and that a key member of Dr. Andy Williams private forum was leading the pack, I jumped on board. Niche Rockets was created by Scot Standke. Scott then teamed up with one of his successful students, Jim Morris - creator of Nichebot.

Just Starting Out

That weekend, I must have read at least 100 threads. Since Niche Rockets is a paid-subscription membership site, I had to get the answers right a way. I wanted to see results fast!

So then I created my minisite. It now consists of 3 main pages (besides the contact us, disclaimer, and privacy statement). I have another 2 embedded as related articles.

Results - One Month Later…

After using the strategies of Niche Rockets, the site has made over $200 in the first month.

Here’s my screenshot from Commission Junction:

Keep in mind that this is an affiliate site that only has 5 articles. I don’t need to have any inventory, nor is customer service a concern. The companies that I’ve been marketing take care of all of that. However, I do provide a “contact us” page in case my web visitors have any questions or concerns.

The difference between this new site, and the others that I’ve created, is that it was focused on a highly competitive niche. On the image, the commission is separated based on the affiliate link I used. In fact, I didn’t use affiliate text links - I used strategically placed animated banners! The second banner was placed on the 3rd week.

Focus On The End Result

So if you’re looking for a way to build money-making internet websites, with minimal time and effort, I highly recommend that you check out this membership forum. In addition to the forum, you get tons of how to videos, ebooks, membership bonuses, monthly fresh PLR articles, and monthly keyword lists. What matters is the end result, the profit that you make.
