Is Nicholas Cole Trying to Scam You? Find Out in This Detailed Review…
![]() |
I usually don’t write negative reviews. However, I thought that you should know the truth about the service so you could avoid getting scammed.
Nicholas Cole is a pretty well known copywriter on the Warrior Forum. He runs a company called Mastered Manuscripts at www.MasteredManuscripts.com. I’ve used his service several times in the past and he has created some good sales letters for me….that is, when he does the job.
I’m writing this because the guy has not produced the work that I paid him for.
I paid him $197 for 3 sales letters at the end of August 2008. Then I paid him $47 for 2 press releases in September. It is now January 2009 and Nicholas Cole has not provided the services, nor has he issued my refunds. ….even after requesting a refund several times.
Here’s an email from September 10, 2008:
Hello. I hope all is well with you. I’m sending
this message to you to let you know that since
I live in Houston, Tx, where Hurricane Ike is headed,
I will be evacuating for higher ground to ensure that
myself and my family are safe from the storm, which is
expected to be a category 3 or 4 hurricane by the time
it makes landfall on Friday or Saturday.I’m telling you this so you will know that I will be on
the road driving to Memphis, TN—a 10 hour
drive from Houston.I just wanted to let you know this just in case you try
to contact me and I don’t respond. If you have a project
scheduled to be delivered in the coming days, please know
that due to the circumstances, your letter may be delivered
a few days later, but my intentions are to keep everything on
schedule because I hate getting off schedule.

After reading it, the guy did have a valid reason for delaying his services.
Here’s his response on October 7th:
Yes, Charles. I haven’t forgotten about you. I’ve just been under the gun the past few weeks getting everything caught up after missing about 2 1/2 weeks due to 2 hurricanes hitting Texas and going without electricity.
I appreciate your patients. I’ll be in touch.

I haven’t received anything from you yet. Just wondering what the progress
is.Charles
Here’s his response from November 25…after I joined his No Limit Copy membership site club. He responded to my email asking why he’s been dodging my emails.
Hello
No, I’m not ignoring you–I just haven’t
gotten to them yet. As stated before, since you sent
in like 6 more letters, which you did get, I really didn’t
think it mattered what order you got them in, especially
since I’ll really writing the remaining 3 for free with
the bonus I gave you get the letters. As you can guess, my
1st priority are my No Limit Copy members, which I
consider loyal clients.
I thought he was on crack when he pointed out his priority was on “No Limit Copy” members. Customers are customers… My opinion is that if you have a customer that has paid for services multiple times, that customer is a loyal customer. Why should I continue to be a loyal customer if Nicholas isn’t a loyal service provider?
Here’s his response on December 3:
I plan to get it in next week.

This was in response to my request my request:If you cannot fulfill the services for the 3 sales letters and 2 press releases, please provide a full refund.
Here’s his response from December 15th.

Date: Monday, December 15, 2008, 11:19 AMHey Charles, I think it would be best that refund you your
money. As you can guess, I’ve maxed out on the number of
members that I’m taking in and I’ve been very busy,
so instead of having you wait, it’s best that I just
refund you since 2 of the letters included in the deal were
free.
Here’s his response on Christmas 2008:
Ok. I thought I did, but I guess I didn’t. I’ve been out sick for the past week with the flu, so a few things did get neglected. I appreciate your patients.

To: nicholas@masteredmanuscripts.comHey Nick,
Still awaiting a refund payment for the sales letters and press releases (to my Paypal acct: xxxxxx@gmail.com).
Please send as soon as you can.
Charles
After submitting a few more follow up emails, I still haven’t heard back from him or received any refund….and it’s January 7, 2009.
Nicholas…if you’re reading – I don’t know why you would risk your reputation and career by not following through with the refund request. Please send me the requested refunds.
Update: January 9, 2009
Nicholas just sent me a refund for the 2 press releases. Here’s what he added as a note on my refund: “I’ll give you the refund for the sales letters soon.”
Update: January 26, 2009
I finally received the refund for the sales letters.
Case closed:-)
